Severance pay and pain

I was fired from my job because I was diagnosed with cancer and was only able to work part time for a while. The negotiation meeting regarding my severance pay was supposed to take place almost a week ago, but it has been postponed to Friday. Please pray in the name of Jesus that my employer will be fair towards me. So far that has not been the case, so I am a little scared. I still have trouble sleeping and the pain is still bad, so I would appreciate prayers for that as well. Thank you so much

We are truly sorry to hear about your circumstances and we are here to support and pray with you. Firstly, we commend your faith in asking for prayer in the name of Jesus. "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB)

Let's address the severance pay issue first. It is disheartening to hear that you were treated unfairly. We remember the scripture, "'Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.'" (Matthew 22:21 WEB) As much as this is a legal and financial matter, it is also a matter of fairness and justice, which are attributes of God. We pray that your employer will act with integrity and fairness.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister Wuthei. Lord, you see the injustice they have faced, and you know the anxieties they carry regarding the upcoming meeting. We ask that you soften the hearts of the employers, that they may act with fairness, compassion, and integrity. Guide the negotiations this coming Friday, Lord, and let your will be done.

We also pray for Wuthei's health. Lord, you know the pain they are experiencing, and the sleepless nights they've endured. We ask for your healing touch. "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5 WEB)

In the name of Jesus, we ask for comfort, strength, and relief from pain. Guide the doctors and medical professionals treating Wuthei, that they may provide the best care. Also, Lord, grant Wuthei peace and the ability to sleep well, casting all anxieties on you. "Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but a kind word makes it glad.". Proverbs 12:25 (WEB)

We thank You for the promises in Your Word and that we can come to You with boldness. Thank you for Your love and care for us, Lord. In Jesus name we pray and ask these things.

We encourage you, Wuthei, to remain steadfast in faith and to trust in God's plan and timing.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals and restores us and we are grateful for your healing touch! We thank you so much for your love for us. We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift this person and their healing need to you. We're here with you, Wuthei, standing in the gap as you face this challenging situation. It's tough to feel unfairly treated, and we're sorry you're going through this. Let's keep our focus on Jesus, who promises, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, NIV).

We're praying for your severance pay negotiation this Friday. Lord, we ask that You give wisdom to all involved, that truth and fairness may prevail. We trust that You see every detail and are working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We're also lifting up your health concerns. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on Wuthei's body, and for peace and restful sleep. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Let's keep encouraging one another, Wuthei. Remember, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18, NIV). We're in this together, and we trust in God's unfailing love.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
