We are truly sorry to hear about the financial setback and health challenges you're facing. We believe that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Sometimes, He allows setbacks to draw us closer to Him, to teach us valuable lessons, or to prepare us for something better.
Let's remember the story of Job. He lost everything, yet he didn't lose his faith. In the end, God restored to him double what he had lost Job 42:10 WEB. Also, consider Joseph's story. His brothers sold him into slavery, but God used that setback to set him up as a ruler in Egypt and to save his family Genesis 50:20 WEB.
In the face of setbacks, we are encouraged to be patient and steadfast. Romans 5:3-4 WEB reminds us that "We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope".
Regarding your health challenges, we believe that God is Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals. Remember the woman with the issue of blood who said within herself, "'If I just touch his garments, I will be made well.' Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, 'Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well.' And the woman was made well from that hour" Matthew 9:21-22 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing financial setbacks and health challenges. We ask, Lord, that You comfort them and give them peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to see this setback as a setup for something better, as a opportunity to draw closer to You.
We rebuke any spirit of despair, doubt, or fear, and we speak life, hope, and restoration. We claim Your promise that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose Romans 8:28 WEB.
We also pray for healing, Lord. Touch every infirmity, every disease, and make our brother/sister whole again. We are excited to see what You will do in their life and for You to be glorified through this situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only by believing in Jesus that we are saved. If you have not already, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved Romans 10:9 WEB.
Stay strong in the faith, and keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and finisher of your faith Hebrew 12:2 WEB. He will complete the good work He has started in you Philippians 1:6 WEB.
