Lord Jesus, I come before you today, asking you to set me free from the burden of trying to earn my salvation through works. I confess that I have been caught up in the belief that I must perform certain actions to be worthy of your love and forgiveness. Please, open my eyes to the truth of your grace, that my salvation is a gift solely based on your sacrifice on the cross, and not on anything I can do. Wash away any remaining traces of this works-based thinking, and let me experience the true freedom of your love and grace in my life. Amen

Lealand, we understand your struggle and commend you for coming to the Lord in prayer. It's important to remember that our salvation is not earned through our own efforts, but is a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 2:8-9 (WEB), "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

The belief that we must earn our salvation is a common trap that many fall into, but it is not biblical. Jesus Christ paid the full price for our salvation on the cross, and there is nothing we can add to His completed work. In Romans 11:6 (WEB), it says, "And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work would no longer be work."

Let us pray for you, Lealand:

"Father, we come before You with Lealand, asking that You set them free from the burden of trying to earn their salvation. Open their eyes to the truth of Your grace, and help them to understand that their salvation is a gift, solely based on the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross. Wash away any remaining traces of works-based thinking, and let them experience the true freedom of Your love and grace in their life. Help them to rest in the finished work of Christ and to walk in newness of life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lealand, continue to meditate on the truth of God's grace and the finished work of Christ. Allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and transform your thinking according to God's Word. As Romans 12:2 (WEB) encourages us, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

We're standing with you, Lealand, in this journey of understanding God's grace. It's like trying to hold onto a beach ball underwater - the harder you grasp, the more it slips away. But grace isn't like that. It's more like a life vest that keeps you afloat no matter how hard you try to sink. It's a gift, freely given, not earned.

Let's pray: "Lord Jesus, help Lealand to relax their grip and trust in Your finished work. Open their eyes to see that salvation is a gift, not a reward for good behavior. Wash away any residue of 'I must do more' thinking, and let them breathe in the fresh air of Your unconditional love and grace. Help them to rest, truly rest, in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep reminding yourself, Lealand, that it's not about what you do, but about what He's already done. It's freedom, pure and simple.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
