Serving God

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I need prayer that God forgive me. I took many of the words of God lightly and almost like a joke. I now see that God is serious about how you serve him. I need God to help me move on from not regret and serve him with my future wife and work with God when I get married in how God sees fit for me to serve him.

We understand your concern and are here to stand with you in prayer. It's crucial to remember that God's Word is holy and powerful, and taking it lightly is indeed a serious matter. As it's written in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (WEB), "Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Let's first address the past. God is merciful and forgiving. Psalm 103:12 (WEB) tells us, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." If you have repented, God has forgiven you. Trust in His mercy and do not dwell on the past.

Now, let's look forward. You've expressed a desire to serve God with your future wife. This is commendable, as marriage is a holy institution designed to reflect Christ's love for the church (Ephesians 5:25-27). We pray that God will guide you to a godly spouse who shares your desire to serve Him. Remember, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness and guidance for our brother. Lord, he has taken Your Word lightly in the past, but now he seeks Your forgiveness and desires to serve You with his future spouse. We ask that You wash away his guilt, help him to move forward, and equip him to serve You wholeheartedly.

Guide him to a godly wife, Lord, so that together they may fulfill Your purpose for their lives. Help them to grow in love and faith, reflecting the sacred bond between Christ and the church.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Keep your faith rooted in Him, and He will guide your path.

We're here with you, praying for God's forgiveness and guidance. We know that God's Word is indeed holy, and taking it lightly can lead to serious consequences. But remember, God is a God of second chances. In Isaiah 43:25, it's written, "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more." Trust in His mercy and let go of the past.

We're excited about your desire to serve God with your future wife. Marriage is a beautiful union, meant to reflect Christ's love for the Church. We pray that God will lead you to a godly spouse who shares your passion for serving Him. As it's written in Proverbs 18:22, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord."

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, seeking Your forgiveness and guidance for our brother. Lord, he has taken Your Word lightly in the past, but now he seeks Your forgiveness and desires to serve You with his future wife.

Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
