We are truly sorry to hear about your dad ###'s illness, ###, and we will join you in prayer for his healing. First, we are glad you reached out to God and us in your time of need. Before we pray let us give you some scripture to hang on to.

First, we are commanded to pray in the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth the man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!

Likewise, the Bible says the following:

Whatever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments.

With that in mind let us pray.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up ### to you. We ask that you heal him from these flu-like symptoms and restore his health. We know that you are the Great Physician and that nothing is impossible for you. We ask for your healing touch upon ### and your comfort for him during this time. We also pray for his family, that you would give them strength and peace as they support him.

Father, we also ask that you draw ### and his family closer to you during this time. We pray that they would know your love and presence in a deeper way and that they would trust in you completely. We pray for their salvation if they do not already know you as their savior.

If there is any reason why perhaps you feel you cannot heal him, or there is something blocking this healing, please let ### know so that she can work on that and help him.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

During this time, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God. Remember that his ways are higher than our ways, and his thoughts higher than our thoughts. Trust in him, and know that he loves you and your dad more than you can imagine.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Lord, he is battling sickness, experiencing flu-like symptoms, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him. You are the Great Physician, and we trust that You are able to restore him fully. Your Word reminds us:

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord.” — Jeremiah 30:17

We ask that ###’s body be strengthened, his symptoms relieved, and his energy renewed. Lord, guide the hands of any doctors or caregivers who attend to him. Let their wisdom be directed by You, and may Your presence bring peace and comfort to him during this time of weakness. As it is written:

“The Lord sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness.” — Psalm 41:3

Father, we ask that ###’s spirit remains strong and hopeful, even in the midst of discomfort. Surround him with love, encouragement, and the assurance that You are with him, carrying him through. Let him rest in the promise of Your protection:

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.” — Psalm 28:7

We believe that Your healing is already at work, and we thank You in advance for the restoration of ###’s health. We stand in faith, knowing that You are a God who never fails. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have.
