Hello,
I would like to begin by stating that I am not without fault in our marriage... I have some personal shortcomings that really drive my husband crazy, ie time management and procrastination... I really need help deciding what to do.... We have been living in separate households for almost three years, but we maintain visitationon a weekly basis. I left because he does not speak to me like a human being, let alone a wife. I have tried not fighting and maintaining silence when he starts shouting, name calling, or bringing up every mistake, big or small, made by me during the 12 years we've known one another. I've tried changing my responses, shouting back... and now finally, we live apart. Through it all, I love him, which is why I don't want a divorce, but this process is really wearing both of us down. What kind of advice would you have for our situation. I am a Chritian, though I haven't been to church in 13 months. We need help. Thank you.
