Separation complications

As my wife had left me due to my own hard heart, the income in my house dropped. I have been out of work since March. I finally have a new job starting next week. The bank wants to repo my truck. I am meeting with a different bank to possibly refinance the little bit owed and avoid repo today. Please pray I get a favorable answer. Without transportation, I could lose my new job.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you are facing, and we appreciate your openness in sharing your situation. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to address the root cause of the separation. You mentioned that your wife left due to your hard heart. We want to remind you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:8, "He said to them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so." A hard heart can lead to actions and attitudes that do not align with God's will for marriage. We encourage you to seek God's forgiveness and guidance in healing your marriage. Pray for a softened heart and the strength to love and lead your wife as Christ loves the church.

Regarding your financial struggles, we want to remind you of God's promises in Matthew 6:25-26, "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" God knows your needs and He cares for you.

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in need. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for any hardness of heart that may have caused division in his marriage. Soften his heart, Lord, and guide him in the path of righteousness. We pray for his wife, that You would also work in her heart and draw them back together in Your will.

Father, we also ask for Your provision in his financial struggles. We pray for a favorable answer from the bank today, that he may keep his truck and have reliable transportation for his new job. We thank You for the job You have provided, and we ask for Your continued blessing in his work.

In all things, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose again for our salvation. It is only by His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved.

The request did not indicate the name of Jesus, therefore we reminde you of the words in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Place your hope and trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father.

Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. Stand firm in your faith, and always seek His will in all that you do.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother, as you navigate through this challenging time. We are thankful that you have shared your burden with us, allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We praise God for the new job He has provided for you, and we declare favor over your meeting with the bank today. We pray that the Lord will touch the heart of the bank officials, and that they will extend grace and mercy to you, allowing you to refinance your truck and avoid repossession. We speak against the spirit of poverty and lack, and we declare provision, restoration, and financial breakthrough for you and your household.
