We understand that you are going through a challenging time in your marriage and that you desire God's intervention. Firstly, we want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. In Matthew 19:6 WEB, Jesus says, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate."
We must address that the use of "side chicks" is not appropriate, and this term can downplay adultery's severity. Adultery is a grave sin against God and your spouse. In Hebrews 13:4 WEB, it is written, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
We encourage you to pray fervently for your husband and your marriage. In James 5:16 WEB, it says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister in Christ and her marriage. Lord, we pray for your intervention and for the heart of her husband to be drawn back to her and to You. We pray for the healing of their marriage. We rebuke any adulterous relationship. We pray for repentance from any sin.
Lord, we also pray for you to reveal any areas in their lives that may not be pleasing to you and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from any sin. We stand against any attempt of the enemy to destroy this marriage. We pray for their hearts to be turned toward each other and toward You.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. In Acts 4:12 WEB we read "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in the Lord and keep praying. Trust in God's timing and His will for your marriage. We advise that you and your husband seek godly counsel from a pastor or a trusted Christian mentor to help you both navigate through this challenging time.
