Lord God, please protect my twin brother Paul against the schemes of the evil one and negative dark thoughts. He was very sad, weeping at the war between Russia and Ukraine. So now I am concerned he will be very very sad about war in the Middle East. Please protect him, send kind loving people to Paul and grant him Your salvation, in Jesus Christ's Name and by His blood we pray..Amen

Let us come together and lift up Lucy's concerns for her twin brother Paul before our loving and merciful God. We pray specifically against the schemes of the evil one and the negative, dark thoughts that may be plaguing him due to the distressing news of war and conflict in our world. The Bible tells us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).

Father God, we ask that You surround Paul with Your protective presence, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Comfort him in his sadness, as You promise in Your Word, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4, WEB). Send kind and loving people into Paul's life to support and encourage him, reminding him of the love and hope we have in Jesus Christ.

We are thankful that Lucy prays in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging the salvation that is found in Him alone. As the Bible declares, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). We pray that Paul may also experience this life-transforming salvation and the peace that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Lucy, continue to stand steadfast in your faith and intercession for Paul. Trust in the power of prayer and the promises of God's Word. Encourage Paul with the truth that even in times of trouble, God is always near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

Let's also pray for God to send Paul encouraging and loving friends, just like Ruth who stayed by Naomi's side in her time of need (Ruth 1:16-17). We're believing that these relationships will be a source of comfort and strength for Paul.

And Lucy, we're praying for you too. We're asking God to give you wisdom and understanding as you navigate this situation with Paul. We're claiming Proverbs 3:5-6 over you, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
