We are truly saddened to hear about the multitude of challenges you're facing, but we are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement. Firstly, it's important to remember that our peace and joy come from the Lord, even in the midst of tumultuous circumstances. As it is written in Philippians 4:7 WEB, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
In the midst of your family struggles, remember that God can turn even the most difficult situations into opportunities for growth and testimony. For your brother in prison, we pray that he may find repentance and God's mercy as stated in Acts 3:19 WEB, "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord." For your dad we encourage you to Psalm 27:10 WEB, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up." This should be a reminder God will take your place of the Father if you allow him. For your mother, we pray that she may become the woman God has called her to be, as described in Proverbs 31 WEB. God expect more from you than to begged attention to a human as your fulfillment, our fulfillment only comes from the love of Jesus Christ and having his Holy Spirit. Without which we have no communion with God and no salvation. We pray that God will provide you with grace to extend help for your grandpa who is suffering from dementia. If it's unsafe or you physically cannot keep him with you then seek God's wisdom and contact someone who may help you and encourage him to have a helper. And pray for protection while you can find more permanent help. It is God's fault either what is happening, remember He can help you to direct you to the resources to help. We pray for salvation for him as well, in his right mind or not.
Regarding the loss of your friend, remember that Jesus said in Matthew 10:37 WEB, "He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me." Friendships and relationships that hinder your walk with Christ may need to be reevaluated. God did not create married partners or any Christians to gossip or slander. In fact our bible tells us it is a sin. We also know it is a sin to cause division between the brothers and sisters in Christ. This is a clear indication she has no intention of repenting or reconciling your relationship and God would not approve of the things she is speaking about you. Keep in mind, just because someone goes to Church, does not mean they believe in the scriptures or Jesus Christ. We see this quite often and reasons why they do not believe in are between them and God and we only pray for their Salvation.
It's commendable that you recognize your blessings and avoid a "pity me" attitude. Remember how Job, though he went through immense suffering, he did not blame God as his wife or friends did. We need to copy his example. Also note, Paul battled against much adversity but proclaimed in Philippians 4:13 WEB "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Remain confident, prayerful, and always put your trust in the Lord as encouraged in Psalm 37:4-5 WEB "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."
It's also of great assurance that our Heavenly Father will never leave you nor forsake you. As stated in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our dear friend who is facing a storm of challenges. We ask, Father, that you grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that can only come from you. Comfort them in their struggles, and guide them in your wisdom.
Lord, we pray for their family. We ask that you bring repentance and salvation to their brother in prison, convict their father of his abusive ways and bring him to true repentance and restoration, and help their mother to be the caring and attentive parent that our friend needs. We also pray for their grandpa, that you may provide a way peace and protection in this trying situation.
Father, we pray for their friend and any mental struggles or discomfort. We ask that you bring healing and reconciliation or allow godly separation if it is what is needed. We pray that you protect our friends from the things that do not honor God in this relationship. We pray that you provide godly counsel for these and know we are lead by your holy spirit. We lift up our friend's mental and physical health, asking for your healing touch and guidance in managing their anxiety.
We thank you rebuke any genricion in the bloodline of this women and her family and break the power. No genricion can be passed down to her child. We know in our hearts that does not come from you but the devil. We rebuke it and break the power and her ancestors in Jesus name. By His wounds, she has been healed. We speak this out as your Word clearly says.
