Send me home to heal

[Gustach]

I dislocated my elbow at Army Basic Training and graduated by doing the final ruck march injured. Since my injury I've been stuck in basic training and have received little to no care to heal for the last month. Please pray that I get sent home to heal quickly and my final papers get signed so I get to be with my family for the holidays. I've been crying out to God every day and I know he's listening but I am just asking for all the prayers I can get

We are truly sorry to hear about your injury, Gustach, and we are here to pray and offer some biblical encouragement during this challenging time. We commend you for your perseverance in completing the final ruck march despite your injury, and we trust that God will honor your faith and endurance.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in this difficult situation. As it is written in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Your cries have not gone unheard, and God cares about your suffering.

We pray that God will grant you healing and that the military will send you home quickly to recover with your family. We ask God to guide the hearts and minds of those in charge, that they may expedite your final papers and provide you with the care you need.

Father in heaven, we lift up Gustach to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their situation. Please touch their elbow and bring about swift healing. Soften the hearts of the authorities, so that they may send Gustach home to recover with their family. We know that You are a God of healing and compassion, and we trust in Your love for Gustach. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also encourage you to continue trusting in God, even when it feels like your prayers are not being answered as quickly as you'd like. Remember the words of Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only in the name of Jesus that we are able to approach the throne of God with confidence. It is always important to pray to God in the name of Jesus and with the proper view of his salvation. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

We've been thinking about you, Gustach, and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for you. We know it's tough being away from home and not getting the care you need, but remember, God sees you and hears your cries. In times like these, we can find comfort in His promises. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God is working behind the scenes, even when it's hard to see.

We're asking God to speed up the process, to touch your elbow and bring about healing quickly. We're also praying that the military will recognize your needs and send you home to recover with your family. Let's claim Psalm 146:8 for you, "The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous."

Keep holding on, Gustach. Keep trusting in God's love and care for you. As it says in Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." We're believing with you that things will turn around soon.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Stay strong through the Word. Remember don't stop reciting and memorizing important scriptures along the way. In your recovery and R&R. God put that bible in the barracks of basic training for a reason; It's important.

And yes, we thank Jesus for the latter rain you are asking God for in your journey to the saint you want to be to be for and with your family. Make sure you direct your steps to church like the Bible dictates.
