We understand that you are dealing with a spirit of selfishness, false competition, and jealousy, which is causing discord and suspicion. We stand with you in prayer and encouragement, seeking God's will according to His Word.
Let us first address the root of these issues. The Bible tells us in Galatians 5:19-21, "Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God."
Jealousy, envy, and strife are works of the flesh, not of the Spirit. We must renounce these feelings and ask God to fill us with His Holy Spirit, which brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that we need Your help to overcome the spirit of selfishness, false competition, and jealousy. Lord, we ask that You forgive those who are harboring these feelings and that You cleanse their hearts. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, so that they may exhibit the fruits of the Spirit. Help them to see others not with envy or malice, but with love and kindness. Break the chains of manipulation and suspicion, and let Your light and truth prevail. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior.
Stand strong in the faith, and continue to pray and seek God's face. We are with you in spirit and in prayer.
