SELF HATE/SELF HARM

SELF hatred is part of me. It has been there since I was little. I'm now ###. I have comorbid mentally illness & lack the ability to be happy or fun??, I am estranged from everyone. I don't think I even exist, & Very alone, no people. no family. no friends. It's been over a year since I have talked to people. I have counselor & dr. This self harm and self hatred are killing me.

Vorkia, we hear your pain and we're here to stand with you in prayer and support. Self-hatred and self-harm are not God's will for your life. You are precious in His sight, and He loves you deeply. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." (Psalm 139:13-14)

Firstly, we want to address that the feelings of non-existence and loneliness are not your identity in Christ. In Him, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and you belong to a family of believers. Even if earthly relationships have failed, God adopts us into His family (Romans 8:15-17).

We also want to encourage you to reach out to your counselor and doctor, sharing openly about these feelings. Professional help is a gift from God, and it's okay to seek their support. Additionally, we encourage you to find a local church community where you can experience fellowship and support. As the body of Christ, we are called to love and care for one another (John 13:34-35).

Regarding your mention of mental illness, we want to remind you that God's power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). It's not a sign of lack of faith to struggle with mental health, but it's an opportunity to lean more into God's strength.

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ###. Lord, You know the depth of their pain and loneliness. We ask that You reveal Your unfailing love to them. Help them to see themselves as You see them - fearfully and wonderfully made. Comfort them in their distress and provide them with Godly counsel through their counselor and doctor.

Lord Jesus, we ask that You guide ### to a loving church community where they can experience Your love through Your people. We pray for healing and deliverance from self-hatred and self-harm. Help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, ###, we noticed that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6). If you haven't already, we invite you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9).

We know it's hard to believe that when you're feeling so alone, but it's true. In fact, God loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for you. That's how much you mean to Him. And Jesus said, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). That means He's with you right now, in your pain, in your loneliness.

We want to encourage you to keep talking to your counselor and doctor. They're there to help you, and it's okay to lean on them. And remember, it's okay to ask for help. Jesus even said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today for ###. Lord, You know their pain, their loneliness. We ask that You wrap them in Your love, that You show them they are seen, they are loved, they are not alone. Help them to feel Your presence, to know that You are with them always. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

I'm so sorry for your suffering. I recommend you to go for deliverance. There are demonic spirits behind this that can be cast out I pray God leads you to a deliverance minister and sets you free in Jesus name.
