Self destructive tendencies

I've seen self destructive tendencies in some people, but there's one group I can't understand.{And I'm not the only one who is puzzled by this.}Now the Jews were chosen by God in the Old Testament, and even in the New, before the outreach expanded, they were chosen, AND, the time is coming when their eyes will be opened again.But there's one thing about them I don't understand.First, let me say that the Israeli Jews seem to have more sense then the American Jews. Look at Netanyahu. He defends his country, knows, as the other Israelis do, about the terrorists, and that they need to be dealt with. But then there's the American Jews.Even in this day of their return to Israel,they don't REALLY back Israel, because, for one thing, someone like Obama comes along, who suggests they cede land to the Arabs, was partial to the Moslem cause in Israel over the Jewish one, and the American Jews almost unanimously voted for him, EVEN ON HIS SECOND TERM, when they knew his bag!!{Because they have this hatred for Republicans.}Trump comes along,Netanyahu supports him, he makes Jerusalem the capital of Israel{it always was}, and most Jews hate him!!{I hear them talk, and more than just a few}Also,Christians defend Israel and the Jewish cause, and when I hear them talk, they're always badmouthing Christians!!In other words, they think their friends are their enemies, and their enemies are their friends!!{Again, not so much the Israeli Jews, but the American ones.}I know"A temporary blindness has come upon Israel, until the time of the gentiles are fulfilled."But even so, how can someone have that level of "upsidedownism", to see everything backwards like that?Then there are Democrats like Jimmy Carter who side with the Palestinian cause, but because he's a Democrat, they voted for him.I don't understand it. Just curious how they could see things so skewed. It undermines those trying to help them.

You said it yourself. Some people are blind to Jesus and His ways. So why think about why a blind person can't see other than they need eyes to see Jesus and His Ways? Why not rather say? Well it IS prophesied to happen that way anyway,many will be saved during the Tribulation.But it just puzzles me how people whp had the Law, were under Gods thumb, etc. could drift so far away,and actually side with His enemies,and turn on His friends.But you argue with EVERYTHING I say.

I don't agree with everything you say. I just don't see why you are trying to figure out how a blind person thinks. They aren't just blind either, they are also deaf. If we really lay an un saved person next to the Word of God they are dead as well. Why try and figure out what a dead person does or thinks? I get where you are coming from but if you want freedom from this life don't think about it

Sure, if you "tune something out", you'll be carefree. But we do have 5 senses, like, if I'm sitting in the car at a red light, and someone is blasting music to the extent that my car vibrates from it, if my hearing is good, how can I pretend it 's not happening when the evidence is proven by my hearing?

That is funny! I don't like to listen to really loud music especially played in my own vehicle if someone blue tooths it but it can be ignored. Our lives in Christ are in a much higher atmosphere or plane than those that aren't in Christ so where is our compassion for them or those that aren't in Christ? I personally love my thoughts in Christ, my Biblical thoughts and for the most part I don't let others control that. We don't have to be annoyed by others in any way for any amount of time. We can pray, oh Lord Jesus show this person that their choices in life are just wrong and show this person that they need You and they need to follow Your teachings for a much better life in You in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! If we let ourselves get annoyed, who is going to pray for them?

Forgive me for pointing out to you how I am being taught to not think about my life. Jesus hung on a cross and if you ask me it was and is the worst possible way to die especially laden with just my sins but Jesus also was laden with the sins of the world. How did Jesus endure that and still be able to say Father forgive them for they know not what they do? Jesus was not thinking about His life, Jesus was thinking about my life and I truly hope Jesus was thinking about your life. If we wind up in a prison for having believed in Jesus are we going to be tormented or are we going to sing praises and thanks to Jesus? It is better to learn now than it is to learn something when it's to late, isn't it?
