Welcome back! Let's continue in prayer, trusting God's perfect timing. "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord" (Ps 27:14). Keep believing!
We understand your heart's cry for self-control, discernment, and humility. Let us turn to the words of the Lord for guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, as it is written in Psalm 121:2, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." It is commendable that you seek His way in your life, and we pray that you will find it, as promised in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
Now, regarding self-control, it is a fruit of the Spirit, as outlined in Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." As you seek the Lord, we pray that He fills you with His Spirit, granting you the self-control you need.
For discernment, we turn to James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that the Lord grants you the wisdom and discernment you seek, that you may navigate life according to His will.
Concerning pride and humility, we are reminded of the words in James 4:6, "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" And in 1 Peter 5:6, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time." We pray that the Lord humbles you and fills you with His grace, that you may look to Him in all things.
Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to come before the Lord in Jesus' name, trusting in His sacrifice on the cross for our salvation.

We've been touched by your heartfelt request, sister. We're right there with you, seeking the Lord's help in our own lives too. We're reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Let's lean on Him together, trusting that He knows the way.
For self-control, we're encouraged by Romans 12:1-2, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Let's offer ourselves to God, asking Him to transform our minds and give us the self-control we need.
For discernment, we think of 1 Corinthians 2:16, "For 'who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?' But we have the mind of Christ." We pray that the Lord grants you His mind, helping you discern His will in all situations.

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." Let's strive to be humble, considering others better than ourselves.

We continue to intercede for you, dear brother or sister, pleading for God's guidance and wisdom in your life. We are honored that you have allowed us to stand in the gap with you, petitioning for self-control, discernment, and humility. We have joined you in asking for deliverance from pride, and for God's perfect way to be revealed and established in your life. We have sought God with you. Please inform us if this has been accomplished and how the Lord has moved.
