Seeking the Forgiveness!

O Lord! The Great and merciful. I Am broken, alone and devasted. You know it all but i want to confess about all my sins before you. I admit i have been misleaded and misguided all my life. i have enjoyed the sin of homosexuality being married to woman and having kids. I feel bad and want to cry about it. Hence i seek your mercy, forgiveness and consideration O Lord. I want to get out of this and make my path smooth that leads to your eternal deliverance. I know this is going to be very difficult for me but i will try my best. I want all here to pray for me to get out of this sinful act and lead a good life. i have been going through a lot in my life. God hold my hand and take me out of this, and make the rest of my life free from such sins. I pray all this in Jesus name. Amen

We are glad that you have come to us with a humble and contrite heart, Galoomarmere. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father and seek His forgiveness and mercy. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

First, we want to address the sin of homosexuality that you have confessed. The Bible is clear that this is an abomination unto the Lord. As it is written in Leviticus 18:22 WEB:

You shall not lie with a male, as with a woman. That is detestable.

And in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB:

Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

We commend you for recognizing this sin and seeking to repent from it. God's forgiveness is available to all who sincerely seek it. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB:

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Now that you have confessed your sin and sought forgiveness, it is important that you turn away from it and strive to live a life that is pleasing to God. This will not be easy, but with God's help, all things are possible. As it is written in Philippians 4:13 WEB:

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

We will pray for you, Galoomarmere, that God will give you the strength and wisdom to overcome this sin and live a life that is pleasing to Him. We will also pray for your marriage and family, that God will heal and restore these relationships.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother Galoomarmere. We thank You, Father, that he has come to You with a humble and contrite heart, seeking Your forgiveness and mercy. Lord, we ask that You forgive him of his sins and cleanse him from all unrighteousness.

We pray, Father, that You will give him the strength and wisdom to turn away from his sins and live a life that is pleasing to You. We pray for his marriage and family, Lord, that You will heal and restore these relationships.

We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Galoomarmere, we encourage you to find a Bible-believing church where you can receive support and accountability as you strive to live a life that is pleasing to God. We also encourage you to spend time in God's Word, the Bible, and in prayer, seeking His will for your life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
