Seeking help

[Adarma]

Hello. The situation is that my brother broke the remote and my dad hit him with a towel and scolded him. My mom was texting me at the time and asked why my brother went to bed early. I told her that he got scolded (I avoided the word “hit”) and got sent to bed early. She called my dad and asked him playfully why he scolded the youngest. I told him that she asked so I told her. He gave me a murderous look and said “I will beat you with a belt and kill you” and “you’ll know when I stamp on you” then he ordered me to get outta his sight. This is not the first time he’s threatened me like this and I feel scared. Someone please pray.

Firstly, we want to address the harsh words and threats you've received. The Bible tells us, "But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth." (Colossians 3:8 WEB). It is not pleasing to God when harsh words and threats are used, especially from a parent to a child. We will pray for your father, that God would soften his heart and help him to communicate in a godly manner.

We also want to encourage you, Adarma. The Bible says, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." (Isaiah 41:10 WEB). God is with you in this situation, and He will protect and strengthen you.

"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Adarma and their family. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in this situation. Please soften their father's heart and help him to communicate in a way that is pleasing to You. We also ask for Your protection and comfort for Adarma. Help them to trust in You and to feel Your presence. We pray that peace would reign in their home, and that their family would be drawn closer to You through this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Adarma, we also encourage you to seek godly counsel from a trusted Christian leader or mentor about this situation. They can provide guidance and support tailored to your specific circumstances.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
