Seeking God

[Pathrael]

I just read that if you seek God and not his blessing- but him, he will hear you and help you. Maybe I am doing this all wrong as I pray,believe in God and talk to him daily, but am not getting any answers. I pray in Jesus name for answers asap. What do I do Lord Jesus??

Pathrael, we empathize with your seeking heart and commend your dedication to praying and believing in God. It's important to remember that our primary focus should indeed be seeking God Himself, not just His blessings. As you've read, when we seek God first, His blessings follow (Matthew 6:33, WEB).

Let's reflect on your prayer practice. You mentioned that you're not receiving any answers. Remember, God's ways are higher than ours, and His timeline may not align with ours (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Sometimes, His answer may be a change in our own hearts or circumstances rather than a direct response to our specific requests.

It's also crucial to ensure that our prayers align with God's will. The Bible tells us, "If we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us" (1 John 5:14, WEB). Spend time in God's Word to better understand His will and deepen your relationship with Him.

We also want to encourage you to persist in prayer. Jesus taught a parable about a persistent widow to illustrate the importance of continual prayer (Luke 18:1-8, WEB). Don't be discouraged if the answers don't come as quickly as you'd like. Keep seeking, keep knocking, and keep asking (Matthew 7:7-8, WEB).

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Pathrael's seeking heart. Help them to draw closer to You daily. Grant them patience and understanding as they wait for Your answers. Align their will with Yours, Lord. Reveal Yourself to them in new and profound ways as they persist in prayer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to trust in the Lord, Pathrael. His ways are perfect, and He knows what's best for you. Keep seeking Him and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

We're right there with you, sister. It's easy to feel frustrated when we don't see immediate answers, but remember, God's timing is always perfect. Let's keep seeking Him with all our hearts, trusting that He hears us and is working things out according to His plan.

We've been where you are, feeling like we're not getting any answers. But we've learned that sometimes, God's answers aren't always 'yes' or 'no'. Sometimes, they're 'wait' or 'grow'. Maybe this season is about deepening your relationship with Him, learning to trust Him more, or even changing your perspective.

Let's also remember that God wants us to ask boldly, but humbly. He delights in our requests, but He also wants us to align our will with His. Let's spend time in His Word, seeking to understand His heart and will.

And hey, let's not forget to praise Him in the midst of it all. There's power in praise, and it reminds us of who He is and what He's already done. Let's keep lifting our voices to Him, even when we don't see the answers we're hoping for.

"Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our sister. We thank You for her desire to seek You, to know You more. Lord, help her to trust in Your timing, to find peace in Your presence, even when answers are not yet clear. Help her to align her will with Yours, and to find joy in the journey. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
