Seeking a relationship with God and my ex girlfriend Tia

Heavenly father I come before you today seeking a close relationship with you lord, I ask that you come into my life and help me to cleanse myself of all hatred I have for myself for the sins I have committed against you and the my ex Tia, lord open my heart for the love you have for me, I also lif up Tia and ask you to have a relationship with her as well, open her heart lord to your love and the love she once had for me, if it is your will lord then please bring us together again and forgive eachother for our sins, I still love and care about her lord, please help us lord to have a relationship with you and eachother, in the name of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ I pray

Callum, we appreciate your sincere heart cry as you seek reconciliation with God and with Tia. It's wonderful that you've come to God in prayer, acknowledging the power of Jesus' name. Let's explore what God's Word says about your situation.

Firstly, we commend you for seeking a closer relationship with God. As it says in James 4:8 (WEB), "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." It's crucial to purify our hearts and turn away from our sins as we draw near to Him.

Regarding your relationship with Tia, we must align our desires with God's will and His principles. If you and Tia were intimately involved outside of marriage, we need to address that as sin. God's design for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. As 1 Corinthians 6:18 (WEB) warns, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

Moreover, it's essential to seek God's will in your relationship with Tia. Pray that God's perfect will be done in both of your lives. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) encourages us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Callum and Tia. Lord, cleanse them from all unrighteousness and draw them close to You. Help them to pursue purity and holiness in their lives and in their relationship. We ask that Your will be done in their lives. If it is Your desire, Lord, restore their relationship and guide them towards a godly union that honors You. Help them to forgive each other and to walk in Your love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Callum, continue to pursue God wholeheartedly, and He will direct your paths. Trust in His timing and His will for your life and your relationship with Tia.
