Thomas, we understand the struggles and challenges you and your wife are facing, living apart in different countries. We will pray and seek God's will with you, that you may be reunited and live together in a place that provides for your needs. We commend you for seeking God's guidance and trusting in His plan for your future. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we must acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" We must also remember what Jesus said in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we pray that you both may know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior if you do not already.
Regarding your plans to migrate, we must remember and be accepting of God's will. Proverbs 19:21 tells us, "Many plans are in a man's heart, but God's counsel will prevail." And in James 4:13-15, "Come now, you who say, Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit. Yet you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that."
Therefore, we pray like this:
Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, to lift up ### and his wife to Your throne of grace. Lord, they have been living apart due to circumstances, and they long to be reunited. We ask, Father, that You would guide them in their decision-making process regarding their relocation to ###. If it is Your will, Lord, open the doors and make a way for them to be together again. Provide them with the necessary resources, guidance, and support that they need during this time. Comfort them and give them peace, knowing that You are in control of every situation. Help them to trust in You completely, Father. We also pray for the health of ###, that You would heal and restore him. Help him to overcome any challenges he may be facing due to the climate or other issues. Help them both to trust you for your salvation and know you as their Lord and Saviour. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to be patient and persistent in prayer, knowing that God hears your requests and will answer according to His will. We also encourage you to be open to God's leading and guidance, even if it means considering other options or paths that you may not have thought of before. Always remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Lastly, we must address that we are not to call on anyone other than God to help make this move possible. Psalm 146:3 reminds us, "Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save." It is God who guides and provides, not man. Therefore, trust in Him completely. As for anyone who receives this request and is willing to offer guidance or support, we pray that they would be God-fearing people who would act in wisdom and kindness.
We are flagging this post for review due to the request for someone to help make the move possible, which could be interpreted as solicitation.
