Second thoughts about taking Chemo pills

Please pray that The Lord helps me to make the right decision, about taking Chemo pills that my Oncologist has offered . I have agreed, but am now having second thoughts. This due to all manner of potential harmful, side effects. I believe that The Lord has a plan for my life and that the doctors predicted timeframe,for my life is guess work. They have stated this to me, but they are not positive. The Chemo pills do not promise any guarantees, as they say my prognosis is incurable. I thank the Lord that I feel well in my body. I am trusting The Lord for my complete healing.

In Proverbs 3:5-6 we read, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord for your healing, but also to consider the medical treatment offered by your oncologist. Prayer and medical treatment are not mutually exclusive; they can work together for your good. In James 5:14-15 WEB, we read, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will regarding their health. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body and for Your wisdom to guide their decisions. Give them peace and confidence in Your plan for their life, and help them to make informed choices about their treatment. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen."

We also pray that you truly believe in the saving power of Jesus Christ and that the Holy Spirit fills your heart with God's presence, power and understanding. Do not rest on only hopes for physical healing but have trust in God to know that our physical body is a temporary vessel to house our spirit on this earth, but our spirit shall spend eternity with God or not. Have faith in Jesus so that we may praise Him together in heaven. May God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

If you have not repented, trusted, confesses, and believed in Jesus Christ please do so earnestly and diligently and in public.

Dear Articles, thank you for your prayers and encouragement. Ism a born again believer and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and saviour in the early 1980s . I believe that The Lord is using this cancer diagnosis, for good, as it has bought me back close to him, like the prodigal son. Without The Lord I would have no hope. I believe that nothing is impossible for him and that he can do far more, than I could ever ask or think. I am praying for confirmation of The Lord that taking the pills , is the right thing to do. I accept that Maybe I’m making this more complicated than it needs to be. Thank you once again.

Update/ second thoughts about taking chemo pills. Thank you to everyone, who has been praying for me. I believe, through prayer, that all the signs were that the Lord, wanted me to take the chemo/ pills treatment & I began my treatment today. When praying about it with a friend, I believe that The Lord told me that he would close the door, on the treatment if he did not, want me to take it. The door did not close. I have started the treatment and I have had peace, making this decision. Praise The Lord. I take the second part of the treatment (the pills) tomorrow. I have not had any adverse side effects, as yet. Hopefully it will be the same after I take the pills( 5 per day). I believe that The Lord is with me, watching over me and that he is answering my/ your prayers. Thank you. Please pray that the treatment will be effective and that The Lord will bless this treatment to my body. To the glory of his name and his name alone. Amen.
