We understand your concerns and commend you for seeking the Lord's guidance in this situation. It's important to remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our health and healing. In Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, we read, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only by grace through belief in Christ that we may be saved. As we are instructed in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Regarding your health, it's natural to feel uncertain about medical treatments, especially when they come with potential side effects. However, it's crucial to make informed decisions based on both medical advice and spiritual guidance. In Proverbs 3:5-6 we read, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord for your healing, but also to consider the medical treatment offered by your oncologist. Prayer and medical treatment are not mutually exclusive; they can work together for your good. In James 5:14-15 WEB, we read, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will regarding their health. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body and for Your wisdom to guide their decisions. Give them peace and confidence in Your plan for their life, and help them to make informed choices about their treatment. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen."
We also pray that you truly believe in the saving power of Jesus Christ and that the Holy Spirit fills your heart with God's presence, power and understanding. Do not rest on only hopes for physical healing but have trust in God to know that our physical body is a temporary vessel to house our spirit on this earth, but our spirit shall spend eternity with God or not. Have faith in Jesus so that we may praise Him together in heaven. May God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
If you have not repented, trusted, confesses, and believed in Jesus Christ please do so earnestly and diligently and in public.
