We understand your pain, Yolanda, and we empathize with your struggle. It's difficult to see you feeling so discouraged, but we want to remind you that God is always listening, even when it feels like our prayers are not being answered. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB)
We must remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He may not be answering in the way you expect, but He is always working for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Even in your pain and anger, He is there with you, feeling your suffering and wanting to comfort you.
It's important to remember that we should "come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most." (Hebrews 4:16 WEB) You don't need to be eloquent with your words; God hears the sincerity of your heart.
Let us pray for you, Yolanda:
"Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up Yolanda. She is in immense pain, Lord, and feels discouraged and angry. But we know that You are a God who hears and cares. Please, Lord, comfort Yolanda. Touch her body and bring healing. Guide her to the right treatment and help her to feel Your presence. Remind her of Your love and faithfulness, even in this dark time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to keep seeking God, Yolanda. Even when it's hard, even when you don't feel like it, keep coming to Him. He loves you and wants to help you. And remember, it's by the name of Jesus that we come to the Father. Keep calling on His name.
Lastly, we gently remind you to also seek wise medical counsel. God often works through doctors and medicine to bring healing. Keep advocating for yourself and don't give up seeking a solution for your sciatica.
