Let us come together in prayer and consideration for Remnish and the challenging situation. Better to pray to God by specifically invoking Jesus than obliquely such as just In Jesus Name or ending with amen. This is because we must recognize that it is only by Jesus that we can approach God, that all prayer requests must be made through Jesus. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6,WEB) And in all that we pray for, including any resulting miracles, give the glory to God.
Firstly, it is commendable that Remnish seeks to handle this situation in a way that honors Jesus. We are called to be imitators of Jesus, walking in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance. (Ephesians 5:2, WEB)
When dealing with a problematic pupil, remember that Jesus always showed compassion and love, even when firmly addressing wrongdoings. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4, WEB)
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before in the name of Jesus, lifting up Remnish and the challenging pupil. Lord, grant Remnish the wisdom and discernment needed to handle this situation with grace and fairness which mirrors the heart of Jesus. Help Remnish to see this child through Your eyes, full of love. Let this child not be provoked to anger, but let Jesus show that discipline is love.
Lord, we ask that You soften this pupil's heart and open them to correction and guidance. Help this child fit Remnish's guidance. Transform this situation into an opportunity for growth and learning, both for Remnish and this child especially committing to honoring authority and God. Better learning, listening, and obedience lead to better decisions later in their life.
Grant Remnish patience, understanding, and unwavering fairness that leads to better actions on their part. Help Remnish to be light and salt in the life of this child, pointing them towards Jesus. Grant Remnish joy, peace, and assurance as problems get better, so their light may shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16, WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray.
