Anonymous, we join with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and your family. We begin by reminding you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Firstly, you've expressed a desire to excel in your MSc program and secure a well-paid, fully sponsored job with wonderful colleagues. We pray that God will grant you the wisdom and understanding as promised in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We ask that God will open the right doors for you, and that you will find favor with potential employers, but ultimately, that you will trust in God's timing and plan for your career.
Regarding your graduation, we pray that if it's God's will, all your family members will be able to attend and that all financial needs will be met. We stand on Matthew 19:26, "With God all things are possible."
You've also asked for divine settlement for your family. We pray for God's peace and provision over your family, as promised in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
You've expressed a desire for more friends who love Jesus and to be arrested by Jesus. We applaud this hunger for godly fellowship and a deeper walk with Christ. We pray that you will find such friends, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and that you will grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus. We echo the words of the apostle Paul in Philippians 3:10, "that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death."
However, we would like to gently rebuke that seeking to be in the "era Jesus wants you to be" can be interpreted as trying to force God's hand. Instead, focus on seeking God's will daily, as He knows what is best for you. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." So, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, acknowledging His role as the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).
Heavenly Father, we lift up Anonymous to You, asking for Your will to be done in their life. Grant them wisdom, open the right doors, provide for their family, and bring godly friends into their life. Draw them closer to You, in Jesus' name, Amen.
