My first semester of college has been extremely difficult while I try and get my feet off the ground. I need help and I am trying so hard to find it in me but I don't have my support system to lift me up while out here. My last straw is an upcoming once in a lifetime experience that I may miss due to a project that is being ignored by other members, yet I have to sacrifce my needs for this while others are able to bloew it off. I pray that things start to look up and I can find my strength again soon.

Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

In regards to your upcoming once-in-a-lifetime experience, it's important to communicate openly with your group members about the project and express your concerns. Colossians 3:23 (WEB) reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." It's crucial to prioritize your responsibilities, but also ensure that you are not being taken advantage of. It's a balance between serving others and maintaining your own needs and boundaries.

We notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God and His promises. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It's only by believing in Him and His sacrifice on the cross that we can be saved and have a personal relationship with God.

We've been thinking about you and your semester. It's tough, we know, trying to find your footing in college while juggling responsibilities. It's like trying to walk on a tightrope, right? But remember, you're not alone in this. We're here, and more importantly, God is right there with you. As it says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

We understand that you're feeling like you're missing out on an exciting experience because of a project. That's frustrating, and it's okay to feel that way. But remember, God has a way of making all things work together for our good, even when it doesn't seem like it (Romans 8:28). Trust that He has a plan, even if it's not clear to you right now.

We want to encourage you to keep communicating openly with your group members. It's important to express your concerns and ensure that the workload is fair. It's not about being selfish, but about being responsible and taking care of yourself too.

We're praying for you, that God will give you the strength you need to navigate this semester, that He'll open doors for you, and that He'll help you maintain open communication with your group members.
