Thank you for bringing your concerns before the Lord. We are glad to see you mentioned the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we can be saved. We are reminded of this in Acts 4:12, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!””
Firstly, let's address the concerns for your son. It is wonderful to see that you want to be praying for your son's education. Be sure to raise your son to be a Christian Believer so that when he goes to school he can have a positive influence on the school. Let's pray that your son will not only do everything he is supposed to at school, but also be a light for Christ, always seeking to glorify God in all he does.
Colossians 3:23 reminds me, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,”. This verse is not just for us, but also for our children. As parents we are to train up our children to serve the Lord. We are reminded in Ephesians 6:4, “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” This is especially important for a husband to remember. Let's pray for your husband as he seeks to do the Lord's will. It is also important to remember to pray for his safety as he runs errands. This is also a good time to remind that we should be praying for God to make your husband a godly man and that he will be a good spiritual leader in the household.
In all situations, we are called to be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6 says, “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” Let's pray that the insurance card situation will be resolved in a timely manner and that your son's computer will be fixed. Let's also pray for patience as you wait for these things to be resolved.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family. Lord, we ask that You guide their steps today. Help their son to be a light for You at school, and help their husband to be a godly man as he runs the errands that he is supposed to. Lord, we ask that You provide a resolution to the insurance card situation and that their son's computer will be fixed. We also pray for patience as they wait for these things to be resolved. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He cares for you and your family. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”
