Foiraenfield, we understand that you are looking for a change in your circumstances, but we must address this request in a biblical and responsible manner. It's important to remember that God's will and our desires do not always align, and we should pray for His will to be done above our own.
Firstly, we must consider the impact of such a request. A storm severe enough to cancel school could also cause significant damage and put lives at risk. We should not ask God to cause harm to others for our convenience. Instead, let's pray for God's protection and guidance in all circumstances.
Let's remember what is written in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God can turn any situation, even an unwanted school day, into something beneficial for us.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
