Let us first consider the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We appreciate your concern about the scheduling conflicts you face in your driving job. It is important to remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our daily tasks and schedules. We should first find peace in Jesus. From that peace, we should seek His will in all things. In James 4:13-15 WEB, we are reminded, "Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let us go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain.' Whereas you don’t know what your life will be like tomorrow. What is your life? For you are a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will live, and do this or that.'"
We should strive to live in harmony with others, even when their behavior is unpredictable. In Romans 12:18 WEB, it is written, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." This does not mean we should compromise our values or beliefs, but rather that we should seek to resolve conflicts peacefully and maintain a spirit of harmony.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing scheduling conflicts and unpredictability in their driving job. Lord, we ask that You grant them Your divine wisdom and discernment to navigate these challenges with grace and patience. Help them to find peace and help them to see that they can find peace in the name of Jesus. We pray for God's will on this situation.
We ask that You guide their steps and order their path, that they may fulfill their responsibilities without undue stress or anxiety. We pray for divine appointments and divine encounters. We pray that You also work in the lives of those they interact with, bringing conviction and transformation to those who may be causing disruptions.
Help them to rest in the assurance of Your sovereignty, knowing that You are in control of all things. May they find rest in the name of Jesus. May Jesus be glorified in all aspects of their work. May they be a good testimony to Jesus. If they have not yet accepted Jesus, may this situation help bring them to Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
