Lerrys, we understand that you're feeling fearful about having high blood pressure and seeing a doctor. First, let's remember what the Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."

Fear is not from God. God wants us to be victorious, and the only way to be victorious over our medical issues is to seek professional medical help and not be ruled by fear. Be okay with speaking to the doctor and pray to Jesus to keep you safe. It is by the name of Jesus we have access to God and it is by the stripes of Jesus Christ we are healed. Have you prayed specifically to Jesus Christ about this and that His will be done in this situation? Healing is God's will for us, but we should always pray if this is God's will in this specific case and if it is for His glory. Remember, God wants you to have power, love, and self-control. The Bible clearly states not to worry about your health. Matthew 6:25 WEB "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life." Fear is natural, but also we do not need to have the spirit of fear, and praying to Jesus will calm all fear. Because who can cast out fear other than the one who fear is named after? Jesus Christ alone can cast out fear.

Dear Jesus,

Please be with ### as they visit the doctor. Help them to feel your divine presence and experience your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide the doctor's and nurses' hands and fill their knowledge with your wisdom. If this visit results in ### having hypertension, let your will be done and help guide them to a life of better health. We ask for your divine mercy towards ###. We also ask that, if it be your will, you will deliver ### from any illness and give them the strength to follow any advice from the doctor. We also desire to pray with ### for others who want healing from hypertension. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

While we do not believe in being ruled by disease, it is important to use common sense and visit with doctors and take appropriate medicine for our health. It is important to engage with the healthcare system when we need it.

We're here with you, ###. It's completely normal to feel scared, but remember, God hasn't given us a spirit of fear. Let's claim that promise in 2 Timothy together: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind" (2 Tim. 1:7, NKJV).
