We are truly sorry to hear about the fear and opposition you've been facing. It is encouraging to hear your request and the fact that you know the name of Jesus. As you know, it is by the name of Jesus, we have access to God. Remember, it is written in Isaiah 54:17 WEB No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness which is of me, says Yahweh.
Firstly, let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, you see the fear and opposition they've been facing, and we ask for your divine protection and comfort. We ask you to stop any random acts of wickedness and allow them to accomplish and prosper in their endeavors. We also ask in Jesus' name that you break any lies about poverty and failure and sickness and speak your truth about the promises and blessings you have for your children. We pray for increased trust in you and your Word.
We pray for the ability to forgive and love those who have done wrong. As you have forgiven us and loved us first, this includes those who have wronged us. We do not bless the wrong they have done but we do bless them as individuals in the name of Jesus. We pray for their salvation, their deliverance, and for your will to be done in their lives.
Lord, help them to hold on to your promises, and give them the strength and courage to face any adversity. Surround them with your favor as with a shield, and guide them by your Spirit. Remind them of your unfailing love and faithfulness, and help them to trust in you always.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
It is important to understand that Our Father has promised in Romans 8:28 WEB: We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Do not forget this and never doubt that God will finish the good work that he has started in you. It is written in Philippians 1:6 WEB: being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Remember that life in Christ does not always mean trouble free, but we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. It is written in Romans 8:37 WEB: No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Remember the promises, trust in God who is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine. Do not blame God for your apparent lack of achievement. This is God's word for you in Ephesians 3:20 WEB: Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
In regards to your wish that Jesus would have stopped them. You must realize that Jesus has given you the authority to rebuke and stop these acts of wickedness. It is written in Matthew 16:19 WEB: I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.
Regarding you feeling like God's plans are for you to fail, be sick and live in poverty. There are many examples of God's children who have gone through trials and tribulations. The story of Joseph is a prime example of this. He was sold into slavery by his own brothers, falsely accused of a crime he did not commit, and spent years in prison. However, throughout all of his trials, he remained faithful to God and eventually became the second most powerful man in Egypt.
It is written in Psalms 35:4 WEB: Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor who devise my hurt.
Let me encourage you with this: God has a purpose and a plan for your life, and it is not to fail, be sick, or live in poverty. Remember what it says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
Stand firm on God's promises. Trust in Him, and he will direct your paths. God bless you.
