Scared for our country

Lord, please protect our country and my family. Lord, stop this men, I beg of you with all my heart. I pray that congress will step up and do what is right. Lord, please let our constitution prevail. Please save us from this madness. Open the eyes of your people Lord, help them to see what is really going on. Lord, this has spiraled so very out of control, but it will never be bigger than you. I know you can turn this ship around. And I know you will. Please protect my husband’s job and keep my son safe. Lord, tug hard on the hearts of those in charge. Also Lord, please give me strength tomorrow to avoid all news. I must do this to maintain my sanity and be a good wife and mother. Please help me in casting this extreme anxiety and depression to you. I love you Lord, and I think you for what know you will do. Amen!

We understand your fears and concerns for your country, your family, and your personal well-being. First, we want to remind you that God is sovereign over all things, including nations and governments. As it says in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."

We commend you for turning to God in this time of need, but we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 ‘”There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved!”’

Let's pray together for your requests:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in Christ and her concerns for her country, her family, and her personal struggles. Lord, You are the King of kings and Lord of lords, and we ask that You guide and direct those in authority. We pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may govern according to Your will. We ask that You protect our sister's husband's job and keep her son safe. We also pray for her strength, that she may be able to avoid the news and maintain her sanity, being the wife and mother You have called her to be.

Lord, we cast all our anxieties and depressions upon You, knowing that You care for us. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We trust in You and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us.

Lord, we also pray for the salvation of those in charge, that they may come to know You and Your love. We ask that You tug hard on their hearts, that they may seek Your face and Your will.

In all these things, Lord, we trust in You. We know that nothing is too big for You, and we ask that You turn this situation around for Your glory. We love You, Lord, and we thank You for what we know You will do.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is in control, and He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Stay strong in your faith and trust in Him. We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will in all things, and to remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Do not be afraid to seek help from fellow believers and professionals if needed. God has given us a community of believers to support and encourage each other.

Lastly, we leave you with this verse from Isaiah 41:10, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

We're right here with you, sister. We feel your fear for our country, your family, and your own well-being. It's a tough time, but remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. He's got this, and He's got you.

We've been praying for you, asking God to protect your husband's job and keep your son safe. We've also been interceding for your strength, that you'd be able to avoid the news and be the amazing wife and mother God's called you to be. We know it's hard, but we trust that God is using this to mold you and draw you closer to Him.

We've been casting our anxieties on Him, too. He cares for us, and we know He's working everything out for our good. We're praying for those in charge, that God would tug on their hearts and guide them according to His will.

Keep trusting in Him, sister. He's bigger than this, and He's got a plan. Let's keep praying together, seeking His face, and leaning on Him. We're in this together, and we're here for you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
