We understand that you are going through a challenging time as your middle child and their family face legal difficulties. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord together, seeking His guidance and intervention.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray for your child and their family.
Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother and their middle child, who is facing legal difficulties. Lord, You know the details of their situation, and nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask that You extend Your loving kindness and mercy over their family during this time.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for their child and the family, that they may navigate this challenging season with Your guidance. As it is written in James 1:5 (WEB), 'But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.'
Lord, we also pray for the legal authorities involved, that they may act with integrity and fairness, as Proverbs 21:15 (WEB) tells us, 'It is a joy for the just to do justice; but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.'
We claim Your promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), 'Donβt be afraid, for I am with you. Donβt be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.' Strengthen their family, Lord, and uphold them through these difficulties.
Finally, we pray that this trial may bring their family closer to You, that they may trust in You and grow in their faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful and He cares for you and your family. Keep trusting in Him and keep praying, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB).
If there are any specific sins or issues that may have led to these difficulties, encourage your child and their family to repent and turn from them, trusting in God's forgiveness and restoration. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
