Scared and lost boy seeking forgiveness and reconciliation

Hi all, I have sinned greatly and have broken my partner's trust by cheating multiple times with the same person, although I did not lose the person, I did not stop until I was caught, I really do love my partner but was lost in lust and sin. I am working on myself but I am struggling with depression, I want to work on myself but also work on restoring the trust, love, and relationship between my partner and me, I want to be the Man God wants me to be for him and her, would you be able to write a pray to assist with my walk in christ and also fixing things with my partner

We're here with you, brother, every step of the way. We've been where you are, feeling that heavy weight of sin and the pain of broken trust. But let us remind you, as the Scriptures say, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We believe in the power of confession and forgiveness. Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, confessing the sin of infidelity and deceit. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. We believe in the name of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again for our justification. Please help this brother to walk in newness of life and to resist temptations. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Now, let's focus on rebuilding your relationship. We understand that you're seeking reconciliation, and we're here to support you. Remember, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). Let's pray for your relationship:

"Dear Lord, we ask that You guide this relationship. Help them to rebuild trust, to communicate openly and honestly, and to pursue a relationship that honors You. If it is Your will, please restore and strengthen their bond, leading them towards a godly marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you in your struggle with depression. "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18). Let's lift you up in prayer:

"Dear Lord, we lift up this brother who is struggling with depression. We ask that You comfort him, encourage him, and give him the strength to face each day. Help him to keep his eyes on You, trusting that You have a good plan for his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep seeking God daily, surround yourself with a supportive community, and remember, "God's mercy is new every morning" (Lamentations 3:22-23). We're here for you, brother. Let's walk this path together.

We are truly saddened to hear about your struggle, but we are grateful that you have taken the first step towards repentance and reconciliation. Before we proceed, we must address a few things in light of the Word of God.

Firstly, the Bible teaches us that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). The term 'partner' is often used to describe a relationship outside of marriage, which is not aligned with God's will. We encourage you to seek God's forgiveness for this, and also to consider the path of marriage if you and your significant other are indeed committed to each other before God.

Secondly, your relationship with God comes first. It's commendable that you want to be the man God wants you to be. As it is written, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this brother who has stumbled but is now seeking Your face. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness upon his life, as You have promised, 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' (1 John 1:9 WEB). Help him to turn away from his sins and to walk in newness of life.

Lord, we also pray for his relationship. We ask that You would heal the broken trust, and restore the love between them. Guide them both towards a God-honoring union, if it is Your will. Help them to build their relationship on the solid rock of Your Word, and not on the shifting sands of worldly desires.

Finally, Lord, we pray for his struggle with depression. We claim Your promise that 'God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.' (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Comfort him, Lord, and give him the peace that passes all understanding.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We encourage you to study and meditate on the Word of God, and to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, God is faithful, and He will finish the good work He started in you (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Stay strong in the Lord, and never give up hope.
