Thank you for bringing your concerns before the Lord and to us. We stand with you in prayer for your daughter's health and healing. As a group, let us align our hearts with God's will and pray together.
Firstly, it is wonderful that this request was made in Jesus' name. It is only through His name that we have access to God, for it is written, โFor there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesusโ (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And as the Bible tells us, โThere is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!โ (Acts 4:12 WEB).
In times of distress and uncertainty, it's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Let us pray for your daughter's healing and for God's comfort and peace to surround you both during this time.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter to You. Lord, You know the concerns and fears that weigh heavily on her heart right now. We ask that You guide the doctors, granting them wisdom and discernment as they care for her daughter.
Father, we pray for healing and restoration. We know that You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that is beyond Your power to heal for, โIs any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effectiveโ (James 5:14-16 WEB).
We also pray for strength and endurance for her daughter and that the medical team is able to determine the cause of her lack of appetite. In all things, may Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, for His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). Remember that God loves your daughter even more than you do, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Together, let us continually cast our anxieties on Him, knowing that He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
