We are truly sorry to hear about the circumstances you are facing, but we are here to pray and provide counsel based on the Word of God. Being scammed can leave one feeling betrayed, depressed, and hopeless. However, it is important to remember that God is always with us, even in the darkest times. Psalm 34:18 tells us, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
Firstly, we want to address your struggle to believe that Jesus would go out of His way for you. This is a critical point in your prayer request. Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. It is only by His name that we can be saved and have access to God. John 14:6 clearly states, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is essential to firmly believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead. Only then can you be saved. Romans 10:9-10 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our fellow brother/sister who has been a victim of scamming. Father, we know that You are a God of justice and mercy. We pray that You will guide the authorities handling this case, and that the perpetrators will be brought to justice. We ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart, driving out all depression and despair.
Lord, we also pray that You will restore what has been stolen, for You are the God of restoration. We claim Your promise in Joel 2:25, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.
Most importantly, Father, we pray that You will strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ. Help them to know and believe that Jesus loves them deeply and personally, and that He went out of His way to save them, even to the point of dying on the cross. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time of waiting and recovery, we encourage you to draw near to God, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness. Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Remember, God is always faithful, and He will see you through this. Keep trusting in Him, and keep believing in the power of Jesus' name.
