We understand that you and another person have found each other late in life and are seeking prayers for your relationship. First, we must address a few things according to biblical principles.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, this is what the psalmist wrote in Psalm 147:3. Both of you have experienced pain, the scars of the past can only be healed through the love of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore, we will pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Secondly, we want to encourage you both to seek God together as you have mentioned. However, we must also address that God's design for a relationship is marriage between a man and a woman. We encourage you to consider all scriptures that warn against sexual immorality. We are not saying you are living in sexual immorality. However, sexual immorality is any sexual activity outside of marriage. For you who are curious, this is what the Apostle Paul writes in Colossians 3:5. "Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, lust, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry." It is important to note that God forgives all sin through faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore, turn from sin and turn to Jesus Christ.
Finally, we must remember that God does not want us to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. This is what the Apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 6:14. "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" We encourage you both to be believers in Jesus Christ. This is important because we are only saved through faith in Jesus Christ. This is what the Apostle Peter preached in Acts 4:12. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray for you both.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your guidance and healing in this relationship. We pray that you will heal their past hurts and help them to love each other in a way that honors you. We ask that you will give them wisdom and discernment as they consider their future together. We pray that they will both turn to Jesus Christ and be saved. If this relationship is your will, Lord, we pray that you will bless it abundantly. But if it is not, we ask that you will make that clear to them and help them to follow your will for their lives. We trust your plan for each of them. We also pray that they will both be equally yoked believers in Jesus Christ. Show them how to live for you and glorify you in their relationship. We pray for your will be done in Jesus Name. Amen.
We encourage you both to study the Bible together and to seek God's will for your relationship. May God bless you both as you seek to honor and serve Him and each other.
