Disciple of Prayer
I’m desperate to stay in my home with my kids. My husband has left me and wants to sell. Please pray for ### and ###.
We are truly sorry to hear about the situation you are facing with your husband and your home. Firstly, we want to remind you that your hope and security are found in Jesus Christ alone. He is the one who comforts us in our troubles, and through him, we can overcome any obstacle. As it says in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
In times of desperation, we must call upon the name of Jesus, for there is power in his name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Sadly your request did not mention His name, nor give any indication of your faith. Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Do you know Jesus Christ as the one who died on the cross to save you from your sins? If not please do. Regarding your husband, we will pray for his heart to be touched by God's grace and for him to be guided back to his family and his responsibilities as a husband and father. 1 Peter 3:1 WEB says, "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word". We pray for God to work in his life and bring reconciliation to your marriage. God takes marriage very seriously. Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously." Healing and restoration are possible through faith and obedience to God's will.
Concerning your home, we pray for God's provision and wisdom to guide you through this challenge. Trust that God knows your needs and will supply them according to His riches in glory. Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her family to you. We pray for your comfort and peace to surround her during this difficult time. We ask that you touch her husband's heart and draw him back to his family, that you would bring healing and restoration to their marriage. We also pray for your provision and wisdom regarding their home, that your will be done in their lives. Help her to have faith in Jesus and help those around her to have faith in Jesus. We pray this and thank you for all that you have done and will do for her and her family.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
