We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage, Anonymous. We commend you for your faith and for turning to the Lord in your time of need. Let us first acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. As it states in John 14:6 WEB
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Jesus also states in John 10:10 WEB
The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
Marriage is a sacred institution designed by God, and it is His will that marriages thrive and be blessed by Him. The Bible tells us in Mark 10:9 WEB
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.
We must first address the request of saving this marriage. After quoting the Bible, we must also address that the request also asks for God to save this marriage. This is not in line with the Bible. It is true that God works through us, and we are God's vessels to carry out His will. The Bible states that the Lord our God is one and the only God. He is the only one that can save this marriage. Let us pray for God to work in you and your spouse, to move your spouse to seek God and to seek you, but it is important to know that your spouse has free will and must accept God and His will. We know that God is sovereign and He can turn the heart of kings, so we trust that He can turn the heart of your spouse.
Let us pray for your marriage, seeking God's divine intervention and healing. Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this marriage to You. We pray for Your healing power to envelop this union, that You would mend what is broken and restore what the enemy has stolen. Remove all spiritual blindness and heal all wounds, Lord. We pray that You would deliver the spouse of Anonymous from all evil and draw them closer to You.
We ask, Lord, that You would create in both of them a clean heart, a heart that is meek and humble. We pray for a hunger and thirst for righteousness, for an intimate relationship with You, Lord. We ask that You would resurrect this marriage, that You would stop the divorce, and that You would grant them a new beginning. Allow the past to remain in the past, Lord, and help them to move forward in Your will.
We pray for their family, Lord. We ask that You would bless them, guide them, and protect them. We pray that You would give them a real chance to make things right, Lord, and we know that You are faithful to do it.
We also pray that the Lord would make clear to both of them if this marriage is His will. We know and understand that this may not be the case. While we fervently pray for this marriage to be reconciled, we also pray that both parties would ultimately seek the will of God. The Lord our God is a holy and righteous God, and we know that He cannot be a part of anything that is not in His will.
In Jesus' name, we pray for your marriage, Anonymous. May God's will be done, and may He bring healing, restoration, and hope to your family.
Throughout your trial, remember to be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness.
Stand firm in your faith, Anonymous, and know that we are praying for you and your spouse. May God's love and peace surround you both, and may His will be done in your marriage and in your lives.
