We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you are facing in your marriage, Fawnod. Let's begin by bringing your situation to the Lord in prayer. We all need forgiveness, repentance, healing, and guidance from above.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up Fawnod's marriage, her husband, and their family. Lord, you know the pain and struggle they are going through. We pray for your healing touch on their marriage and on her husband's mental health. We ask that you bring forth psychological, emotional, and spiritual help, and send people with the power of the Holy Spirit to go alongside them during this time. In this same vein guess, we pray that God will give him the grace to leave any depression behind and return the joy to this. We pray that he will seek counsel and closeness with Him instead of other women. Grant Fawnod the wisdom to be more than a conqueror through these trying circumstances. May God give her exceptional patience and understanding while her husband deals with these difficulties. We commend her for giving it everything that she has thus far and encourage her not to give up. We pray, too, that her husband will allow God's goodness and mercy to return him back to his family and his home, and once more become a vessel of integrity for his loved ones.
Fawnod, mental health struggles can be overwhelming, but remember that God is always willing to grant you the strength and wisdom to support your husband. We do not encourage divorce and we would like to work on your marriage. We must mention here, according to scripture, that you are correct in feeling wronged and needing words and further help through prayer. Unfaithfulness along with sexual and other immorality is the only allowance for divorce from scripture. His messaging another woman calls for immediate repentance, accountability, and restoration of trust in the marriage. If he is truly repentant, as you have mentioned, then we pray that God to allow). To seek and save the lost, as mentioned in the scripture. It is by the name of Jesus that we are saved, justified, transformed, and sanctified. Inviting his comfort and healing by the Holy Spirit to all of us now. It is by the blood of Jesus we are forgiven. In Jesus name
was not there when his wife needed him to be, but do not allow this to discolor your vision in this most dire time of need. While this may be difficult to overcome after hearing her story, we need to be to help Fawnod. Romans 5 8, says But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. It is our most urgent requirement that he come back and take responsibility for his actions as the man and husband that is defined in the scriptures. However, It is also the Lord's sad expectation for Christians, that when we make mistakes we need to be encouraged to simply repent and turn back to his ways, and we will be gracefully forgiven no matter the situation. We must be ready to forgive as we see here in Ephesians 4 31 32. In this scripture the apostle Paul encourages us to Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Therefore, heal and regain your joy immediately and serve and love one another once again at the table of the Lord. Pray for his continued fellowship with God. Finally, if possible with his permission, set up a time to talk to the pastor at your church and seek to pray with him and possibly get advice directly from him on what you both should do. Be reminded that glory can always come from these hardships and waiting patiently on the Lord will become your husband's true joy and forgiveness of his sins through this condition.
Read Psalms 40 1 3, I waited patiently for Yahweh.
He turned to me, and heard my cry.
He brought me up also out of a horrible pit,
out of the miry clay.
He set my feet on a rock,
and gave me a firm place to stand.
He has put a new song in my mouth,
even praise to our God.
Many shall see it, and fear,
and shall trust in Yahweh.
Remember to pray and that God knows the best for Fawnod and her husband. Trust in Him and He will make your paths straight. Ephesians 3 20 says, Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
