We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you are facing in your marriage, Ms. Castro Martinez. Firstly, we commend you for seeking help and for your faith in the power of prayer. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can find true healing and restoration.
We must address that the Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage. As it is written in Mark 10:9, "What therefore God has joined together, let not man put apart." Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and adultery is a grave sin against God and your spouse.
However, we serve a God of forgiveness and restoration. If your husband is truly repentant, God can heal and restore your marriage. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
We also want to encourage you to trust God in this situation. Psalm 34:18 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to you in your pain and He wants to comfort and guide you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister Ms. Castro Martinez and her husband Jorge. Lord, we ask for Your healing and restoration in their marriage. We rebuke the spirit of adultery and pray that Jorge would repent and turn away from this sin. We ask that You would soften his heart and draw him back to his wife and to You.
We also pray for Ms. Castro Martinez, Lord. Heal her broken heart and comfort her in this time of need. Give her the strength and wisdom to navigate this situation with grace and forgiveness.
We ask that you work in the heart of the other woman as well who has six children of her own. We ask that you work in her heart and that she would repent and turn from this sin and that you would help her to be the mother that you would have her be.
And may you work in the hearts of all those involved and the hearts of all those who are praying with Ms. Castro Martinez. May you give us all hearts that only desire to see your will be done in this situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will for your marriage. Trust in Him, for He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
Remember that the fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Keep praying, keep seeking God, and keep trusting in Him. He is able to restore and heal your marriage.
There is much we do not know about your situation. Please forgive us if we have read your situation incorrectly. We will continue to pray for you and your husband.
