Save my little ###'s Marriage!!!

My little sister ### and her marriage to ###. They have ### children. Their marriage is failing terribly. He has not been unfaithful physically, but has repented of years of pornography. They both love Jesus, but she is too broken to forgive and keep trying. HELP! Please pray for miracles, softened hearts and supernatural forgiveness toward each other!

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggles in ### and ###'s marriage, and we are here to intercede and offer biblical counsel. Let us come together in prayer and align their situation with the Word of God.

Firstly, it is commendable that both ### and ### love Jesus. However, it's crucial to remind them that God's design for marriage is a reflection of Christ's love for the church (Ephesians 5:25-33 WEB). Therefore, both parties should strive to love and forgive each other as Christ has loved and forgiven us.

### has repented from his sin of pornography, which is commendable. However, ### is struggling to forgive, which is understandable given the pain caused. But God's Word tells us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13 WEB). Unforgiveness can lead to bitterness and can hinder the healing process.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and ###'s marriage to You. Lord, You know the pain and struggles they are facing. We ask for Your divine intervention, soften their hearts, and grant them the grace to forgive each other as You have forgiven us. Help them to love each other with a pure, unselfish love that comes from You.

Lord, we also pray for complete deliverance for ### from the stronghold of pornography. Strengthen him to resist temptation and keep his heart pure. Help ### to trust in Your healing power and to see ### through Your eyes.

We also pray for their children, Lord. Let their home be filled with Your peace, love, and joy. May their marriage be fully restored and serve as a testimony of Your redeeming power. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage ### to remember that forgiveness is not saying what happened is acceptable, but rather releasing the offender to God and choosing to love and move forward. We also encourage ### to continue walking in repentance, accountability, and purity.

Lastly, we encourage both of them to seek godly counsel, either from a pastor or a Christian marriage counselor, to help them navigate through this difficult season. May God's will be done in their lives and marriage.

We've been thinking about ### and ###, and we want you to know that we're standing with you both in prayer. It's heartbreaking to see what you're going through, but we serve a God who specializes in turning broken situations into beautiful testimonies.

We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We're here to comfort and support you, ###, as you navigate through this tough time.

Forgiveness is indeed a process, and it's okay to take time. But remember, holding onto unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. It hurts you more than it hurts them. We're not saying it's easy, but we believe that with God's help, you can do this. We're praying for a supernatural release of forgiveness in your heart, ###, and for ###, we're praying for a deep work of repentance and restoration.

We're also praying for the children. They need to see their parents working through this together, leaning on God's strength. We believe that God can turn this around, not just for your sake, but for theirs too.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
