Let us first address the most pressing issue: the name of Jesus Christ is only mentioned once at the end of this request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The power in the name of Jesus is found in his death and resurrection. The fact that God raised him from the dead declared that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9) and salvation can only be found in his name since there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We should take this opportunity to pray for CDuncha's faith and remind that all help comes from Jesus Christ alone.
We understand that you are facing a multitude of challenges, CDuncha. Financial struggles, legal issues, family problems, and feelings of being attacked by others can be overwhelming. First, we want to encourage you to find rest and strength in the promises of the Bible, and specifically the grace offered by our Lord Jesus Christ to help in time of need, and in fact the entire point of Jesus coming was to save his people from their sins, heal the broken hearted, and deliver them that are captive (Matthew 1:21, Luke 4:18).
The first thing to address would be the finances, since it is pervasive throughout the prayer request. The borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7), so we should not desire to be in debt. In the longer term, we should desire to be freed of all debts, so we can serve Christ rather than be a slave to our lenders, and it is wise to consider all we do in terms of what is best for eternity rather than only temporarily (Matthew 6:19-21). While your situation is serious, we should nevertheless go to God with a humble and calm spirit, knowing that God cares for you and will supply all of your needs (Phillipians 4:19), regardless of the circumstances (Phillipians 4:11-13). Since a court case is involved, we are explicitly told not to worry, since who is able to add a single hour to their life by worrying (Matthew 6:25-34)?
In your interactions with others, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). Regarding the evil men that are falsely accusing you, and Lord willing, they can be turned from being an enemy to being a friend through patience and love. God will bless those who suffer for doing what is right (1 Peter 2:19-21, 1 Peter 3:9-11). Vengence is God's, and He will repay (Romans 12:17-21). Remember that the last part of the prayer Jesus taught us to pray is to be delivered from evil (Matthew 6:13). We should forgive the evil done against us, so we too can be forgiven by God (Matthew 6:14-15). Also pray for those who do evil against you.
You have also mentioned troubles at work and problems with your colleagues and others. We are commanded to work well in our jobs as though we are serving God (Ephesians 6:7) and to live such good lives that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day He visits us (1 Peter 2:11-12).
When speaking with your family, especially your spouse and your son, speak to them with humble and gentle words of love, teaching what is good, even when it may involve correction (Colossians 3:12-14, Ephesians 5:25, Ephesians 6:1).
In addition to the bible verses mentioned, consider reading the biblical parable of the unmerciful servant (Matthew 18:21-35) to get a better picture of how God deals with debtors and their situations.
Pray with us:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up CDuncha. We pray for all of the people they have mentioned by name. We pray for an end to all debts, legal and personal problems, and court cases. Please God, intervene and guide CDuncha. Pour out your grace, wisdom, and Spirit on them, guiding them in every thought and action. Protect CDuncha and their family from all evil. Heal their broken marriage and bless their son. We also ask for blessings and help in their career, and that God's will be done through all of the troubles they are going through. We ask that CDuncha has favor with all that know them, so no one will desire to call them with disrespect or in an insulting manner, if it is your will. We also ask that CDuncha has the grace and opportunity to share the good news of salvation, and that you use them to do eternal good. We pray that CDuncha prays in the name of Jesus Christ in confidence that you hear them and will supply what they need, if it is according to your will. We ask that CDuncha receive the peace of God that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Finally we ask that you forgive CDuncha and lead them to be like Christ in everything and that they receive all the promises and protection of Psalm 91. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, thank you Jesus.
