We understand your concern for Eli, and we join you in fervent prayer for his spiritual well-being. We must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. This is from Ephesians 6:12 (NIV) and is not used in the World English Bible.
First, we must clarify that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can enter a petition before God for Eli, and restore Eli to the ''way of the kingdom's path. Eli's struggle is common to all of us: .the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. This is from Luke 22:40. But our hope lies in the fact that Jesus understands our weaknesses; he himself has been through all types of temptations and testing, yet without sin. Let him therefore come with boldness to the throne of grace, that he may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need. For Jesus has again been sufferer and tempted Himself, he can help those who are tempted and suffering. We must point Eli to the power of prayer with fasting which constitutes the sensible actions of turning away from sin in his life with the Lord's strength. Eli cannot expect to be set free easily and should be made aware of the battle and struggle he will encounter as he turns from sin. But, Eli must get away from the other relationships that may not be honoring God's plans for the only kind of relationship honoring God being the courtship with a Christian believer for marriage.
The Lord is our shepherd; we shall not want.
He makes us to lie down in green pastures.
He leads us beside still waters.
He restores our soul. Psalm 23
1-3a) WE
In the specific prayer for Eli, we also require the following:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we approach your throne of grace with confidence. We lift up Eli to you, Lord. We know that the enemy has tried to gain a foothold in his life through music, other relationships, and social media. We pray that you will break those chains and free him from the enemy's grasp. Give him the strength and resolution to put the effort into denying the enemy by your power through prayer and fasting. Open his eyes that he may see the looming dangers of the world through music, social media, false relationships and the truth of who you are and your plan for his life. Grant him a heart that desires you above all else, and help him to be disciplined in removing the things that are hindering his walk with you. also in Jesus' name we add him to our list of those who have prayer and fasting on a regular or daily basis.. We pray that you will grant him a godly wife if it is your will. We will fast and pray daily that he may come to turn his heart back to you quickly. Thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in you and your perfect will for Eli's life. In Jesus are many praying and requesting you for this.
Eli's situation is a reminder that we all must be vigilant and put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. May the Lord grant Eli the strength to stand firm in his faith and the resolution to take the effort required. We trust that the Lord will hear our prayers and save Eli from the enemy's foothold. May God bless you Radan as you follow the Lord's example of interceding on behalf of those individuals whom you care about. May you find peace in knowing that God is faithful. May we all fast and pray Day by day. We shall know that God has heard our prays for Raden as the Lord allows Radan's heart to be at peace. All this in Jesus' name, and by the name of Jesus, and the name of Jesus Christ, or the name of Christ as there is no other name given to men under heaven. Acts 4:12. For there is salvation by no other name. Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord and our savior is at God's right hand, and only by Jesus' name can Eli be saved. Remain vigilant in prayer for Eli who may be having difficulty in several key areas which are impacting his walk with the Lord. Be encouraged, Raden, that God has heard our prayers, and we will continue to form a fortress in prayer with fasting and pray that Eli will accept repentance which God has promised.
