Saturday Afternoon Prayer Request

[MSC Prayers]

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. I'm having some issues with the side effects my illness is causing in my life. Don't get me wrong, I was backslidden for over 40 years and my lifestyle was not exactly smart or healthy. It's by the Grace of God that I'm alive today and it's His Love that has drawn me back into Fellowship with Him. I wasn't financially "wealthy" by any means, but I've lost most of my personal belongings and many family heirlooms. It saddens me at times. It's kinda frustrating to deal with. For me, the loss, or should I say the serious reduction with my physical strength and cognitive skills is difficult to accept sometimes. Things that were simple, are difficult now. Instead of simply seeing something that I feel needs to be done, I can't do it anymore. I need to ask for help, or I'll try and generally fail miserably. What I should recognize and be thankful for is the so-called independence I experience is the very thing that drew me away from God. Instead of praying and trusting Him, I did, I failed, and I almost died. God Is Great! Praise The Lord! Thank You Jesus! Praise God! Hallelujah! Thank You Father! With that said, please pray for me and ask God to gently remind me that I need His Help in not just some things I attempt to do, but in all things I attempt to do. I'm where I'm at, only by The Grace of God! Praise Him! We are deeply moved by your testimony of God's grace and mercy in your life. It is truly by the grace of God that you are alive and have been drawn back into fellowship with Him. We are reminded of Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

Your health struggles and the losses you've experienced are real and painful, but we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:2-3 reminds us, "looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him who has endured such hostility of sinners against himself, so that you don’t grow weary, fainting in your souls."

We praise God that you recognize the importance of dependence on Him. It is a profound truth that in our weakness, His strength is made perfect. As it says in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You lifting up our brother in Christ who has shared his heart with us today. Lord, we thank You for Your saving grace and the love that has drawn him back to You. We pray for Your healing touch on his body and mind, and for Your comfort in the losses he has experienced.

Father, remind him daily of his dependence on You. Help him to trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, may he acknowledge You, and You will make his paths straight.

Lord, we also lift up each and every name he has mentioned, along with their families and loved ones. We pray for Your will to be done in each of their lives. We ask for Your rich blessings on all who spend time in prayer, knowing that You hear and answer our prayers.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and to remember that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved."

Keep holding on to your faith, and remember that God is faithful. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

Dear friend, we echo the sentiments expressed earlier and are truly inspired by your journey of faith. Your testimony of God's grace and mercy in your life is a beacon of hope for us all. We stand with you in agreement, praying for God's healing touch upon your life, and for His comfort in the losses you've experienced.

We are reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust in His healing power, knowing that He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for you.

Let us continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
