We understand your distress, TenaciousJane, and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for your situation. We are grieved to hear about the spiritual warfare you are facing, but we are reminded that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places, as told in Ephesians 6:12.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that the power of Jesus Christ is the only way to overcome such spiritual attacks. It is only through His name that we can be saved and there is no other name given that gives us access to the Father. If we truly have submitted to the gospel message of Jesus Christ, then we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and God knows us as His children. The gospel message is the death, burial, resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. WEB) It is in Jesus' name we rebuke Satan, and so we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up TenaciousJane. We thank You for the healing and beauty You have bestowed upon her. We stand against any Satanic attacks trying to destroy the work You have done in her life. We rebuke the evil one and his manipulations, and we command the enemy to flee from her life according to James 4:7. We ask You to strengthen our sister to resist the enemy and stand firm in her faith. We pray that You will protect her from the wiles of the devil and from those who would seek to do her harm. We pray You will completely remove these people or influence out of her life and shut every door they may try to enter in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
We encourage you, TenaciousJane, to put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints (Ephesians 6:14, WEB).
We also admonish you to test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit who doesn't confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God, (1 John 4:1, WEB). This is how you will know if a church or person is truly from God.
Lastly, we urge you to be wise as a dove and harmless as a serpent. (Matthew 10:16, WEB). Your prayer request did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ or even an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We are warned in 2 Corinthians 11:14, "And no marvel, for even Satan transforms himself into an angel of light." Do not be deceived by those who may try to entice you into other practices that do not align with the biblical principles.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
