Same old pattern

Looking at the 3 characters involved in the Fall{Adam, Eve, and the devil}and noticing how men, women, and the devil act now, thousands of years later, I see that it's all the more believable, and that, after thousands of years, they haven't changed much.Eve--I notice that women do tend to have a flaw in their nature where they get attracted to things that appear beautiful, but are actually harmful in the long run .Like an "all that glitters is gold" belief.Adam--yes, men that I see do tend to be so insecure about losing "their" woman, that they'll lose their individual spirit and even sense of right and wrong, to "go along."The devil--the deception that Gods word is "restrictive" to us, and if we do it "the other way", WE would be like gods.Look at what he told Eve compared to the New Age movement, and Hinduism today,"you can make yourself a god,you can be as gods."Almost the same exact words as to Eve in the Garden. So 2 things here--although that was thousands of years ago, men, woman and the devil from what I've observed have the same nature as back then. And second, do you think the devil doesn't know each type of persons specific weak area, where he can use a specific temptation on a specific type?I'm sure the devil knew how to tempt a woman, and that the man would"go along".I don't think the devil does things by coincidence. But observing the natures of the 3 involved, it becomes clear and so simple to me. An observation....do you think?

Let This be one of Your Daily Confessions: This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. I will not complain because all things are working together for my good.
Yeah but I don't see how that ties into making an observation about the three characters involved in the incident in the Garden of Eden, and why I find it it hits the nail on the head, why each reacted in their specific way.I think that actually backs up the Garden story, because everything gels perfectly. And that the the devil knows how to reach us in specific ways, based on our specific natures..It was an observation, not a complaint. You may have misunderstood my meaning on this one a bit.

Those three characters were sent to eath by God Himself to prove who will obey the voice of the Lord. Who will say, Yes Lord. I shall do everything you tell me to do. If you really kow that God loves you and cares for you, then you should not refuse to obey what He is telling you to do. Jonah refused to go to Niniveh to preach the destruction of that city. Gods mercy and compassion let him go through a hard time but at the end, Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord and the whole city was saved.

Do not follow the old pattern given to us by the world. Follow Jesus, the new pattern, the fresh one, the one that will last an eternity. If you follow sin and evil, judgment day shall come when we will give an account to God for what we have done on earth. If your deed were holy and pure, Jesus will tell you so, if they werent, that too, will come to light. A Crown of Life shall be given to those who faithfull serve the Lord all their lives and we shall rejoice with Jesus forever. Amen

Satan knows all areas of our life. He tempted Jesus in the desert when He was hungry. He did not eat for 40 days and 40 nights. Turn this stones into bread... he said. Jesus did not obey what the devil was sugesting. This old pattern of temptations will never end. It will come to us when we are busy working for Jesus. Just keep your eyes on the Lord. Hear His voice and obey what He is telling you.

In the days of Hagar and Sarah, the child who came from faithless connivance (Ishmael) harassed the child who came — empowered by the Spirit — from the faithful promise (Isaac). Isn't it clear that the harassment you are now experiencing from the Jerusalem heretics follows that old pattern...

Yeah, same old pattern..when I have nothing planned, I have time.As soon as I want to, {or need to}do something, as soon as the idea comes into my head, here pops up the obstacle!!I hate being thwarted when I want to do something, or having to put it off.It gets depressing when it happens...
