Looking at the 3 characters involved in the Fall{Adam, Eve, and the devil}and noticing how men, women, and the devil act now, thousands of years later, I see that it's all the more believable, and that, after thousands of years, they haven't changed much.Eve--I notice that women do tend to have a flaw in their nature where they get attracted to things that appear beautiful, but are actually harmful in the long run .Like an "all that glitters is gold" belief.Adam--yes, men that I see do tend to be so insecure about losing "their" woman, that they'll lose their individual spirit and even sense of right and wrong, to "go along."The devil--the deception that Gods word is "restrictive" to us, and if we do it "the other way", WE would be like gods.Look at what he told Eve compared to the New Age movement, and Hinduism today,"you can make yourself a god,you can be as gods."Almost the same exact words as to Eve in the Garden. So 2 things here--although that was thousands of years ago, men, woman and the devil from what I've observed have the same nature as back then. And second, do you think the devil doesn't know each type of persons specific weak area, where he can use a specific temptation on a specific type?I'm sure the devil knew how to tempt a woman, and that the man would"go along".I don't think the devil does things by coincidence. But observing the natures of the 3 involved, it becomes clear and so simple to me. An observation....do you think?
