We join with you in praying for your son-in-law's salvation. It is wonderful to hear that you are trusting and praying for him. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the importance of interceding for others, as the Apostle Paul encourages us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB:
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our son-in-law to You. We ask that You soften his heart and draw him to Yourself. Grant him the gift of faith and repentance, that he may turn to Christ and be saved. We pray that he would come to know the love of God that surpasses knowledge, and that he would be filled with all the fullness of God. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."
We encourage you that God desires for all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Continue to pray fervently and trust in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. As it says in James 5:16 WEB:
"Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
Keep trusting and believing, and we stand in agreement with you for your son-in-law's salvation. Always remember that it is very important to put Jesus Christ in our prayers. It is only through his name that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. It is only through the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross for us that we can be saved. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you shall be saved. This is the foundation to prayer and salvation.
