We are so glad to join with you in prayer for the salvation of your four children. It is wonderful to hear that you are already praying regularly for them. Let us stand together on the promise in Matthew 18:19, "Again, I tell you truly, that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."
Firstly, we commend your desire to be a more faithful witness to your children. It is vital to remember the instructions in Deuteronomy 6:6-7, "These words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer and their four children. Lord, we ask that you soften the hearts of these children and draw them to yourself. Grant them the gift of faith and the desire to know you more.
Father, we also pray for this parent as they desire to be a more faithful witness. Give them the strength, wisdom, and courage to teach your words diligently to their children. Guide them in every word and action, that they may point their children to you.
Help us all to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth, as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:13-16. Let our light shine before others, that they may see our good deeds and glorify you, our Father in heaven.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it is by our actions and words that we show others the love of Christ. Be encouraged by Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we do not give up." Trust that God is at work in your children's lives, and He will bring them into His kingdom as you faithfully witness to them. We will continue to pray for you and your children, trusting that God will bring them to His salvation.
Lastly, when praying for salvation, remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As recorded in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
