We fervently join you, Iedur, in praying for Erika's salvation. It is commendable that you care for her spiritual well-being, even as you remain apart. Indeed, the Bible tells us, "No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Erika to you. Lord, you know the depths of her heart, and you desire for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4 WEB). We ask that you soften her heart and draw her to you. Surround her with your love, and place people in her life who will point her to you. Grant her the gift of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We also pray for Iedur, that you would comfort him and give him peace, trusting in your sovereign will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord, Iedur, and take heart in the parable of the lost sheep (Luke 15:3-7 WEB). Just as the shepherd goes after the one lost sheep, so too does our Heavenly Father care for Erika and desires her to be found in Him. Keep praying and do not grow weary, for "the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB).
As for your past relationship, remember to keep your hearts and minds aligned with God's will. If Erika returns to the faith and you both feel led, pursue a courtship that honors God and has marriage as its goal. But for now, focus on her spiritual restoration, and trust in God's timing for everything else.
