Haftgal, we're delighted to help you understand how to believe in Jesus for the first time and know that you're saved. The Bible tells us, "Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).
First, it's important to recognize that we're all sinners in need of a Savior. As it is written, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 WEB). The consequence of sin is eternal separation from God, but God in His love and mercy provided a way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23 WEB).
Believing in Jesus involves acknowledging your sin, repenting (turning away) from it, and putting your trust in Jesus' sacrificial death and resurrection as the payment for your sin. It's about surrendering your life to Him as your Lord and Savior.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
Haftgal comes to You today, acknowledging their sin and need for Your forgiveness. They believe that You died on the cross to pay the penalty for their sins and that You rose again to offer new life. Please forgive their sins and come into their life as their Lord and Savior. Help them to turn away from their old life and to live a new life for You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Also, start reading the Bible daily, beginning with the Gospel of John. Remember, Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20 WEB). He's waiting for you to invite Him into your life.

It's not about being perfect, but about taking that first step of faith. It's about saying, "Jesus, I know I've been walking in the wrong direction. I can't do this on my own. I trust in You. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again. I want to live for You now."
